About FHC Mat Club

Building Champions

Wrestling is more than just a sport; it's an opportunity to build character, develop physical fitness, and make lasting friendships. The FHC Youth Wrestling Program offers a supportive environment for young athletes to learn, grow, and excel in one of the world's oldest and most respected sports. Here's why your child should consider joining:

A Foundation For Success

Founded in 2015, our program has a strong track record of success. Many of our youth wrestlers continue to compete at the high school level and beyond. We also support multi-sport athletes and have strong relationships with other youth athletic organizations in the Forest Hills community.

Our program is built on core values of hard work, humility, and honesty, guiding every decision in practice and competition.

Competitive Opportunities

Our wrestlers compete in the Grand Rapids Area Wrestling League (GRAWL) during January and February, participating in dual (team) competitions. For those seeking additional challenges, we also offer the chance to compete in Michigan Youth Wrestling Association (MYWAY) individual tournaments on the weekends.
